The star power is indeed huge in the WNBA this season. Many celebrities show up for their favorite teams on the sidelines and make the headlines. Something similar happened when Marron 5’s lead singer Adam Levine went to see A’ja Wilson and the Aces. However, after fanboying the 2x reigning champs, the Grammy Award-winning singer quickly turned to hype up the Indiana fans with a Caitlin Clark jersey.
Scott Agnes, the beat writer for the Indiana teams recently took it to his X account to post the news. In his concert tonight, the lead vocalist confessed, “This was a hard f— jersey to get.” It is understandable why Caitlin Clark’s jerseys are not readily available. The first overall pick had her merch swept away on the very night of the draft in April. Fans show up every game to get her to sign the t-shirts, caps, and whatnot by the NCAA phenom. At the same time, the rookie does not disappoint either.

In Iowa, Caitlin Clark attracted big-screen stars like Ashton Kutcher. Now, she still continues to do the same as the face of the Fever and the WNBA. Previously, one of the best-selling music artists of all time, Tim McGraw came out in the city with a No. 22 Fever jersey for Caitlin Clark. Then, she had not even played for the new team. Seemingly, the fans are riling up for the 2024 WNBA season.

Indeed, it’s been a tough challenge for many to get their hands on the 2x National Player of the Year’s Indiana merch. However, it was surprising to see that even a celebrated singer like Adam Levine had to face the same troubles. Reflecting on the same, some fans joined the comment section and mentioned how they too faced difficulties while trying to get Caitlin Clark’s wearables. One fan, all the way from down under, commented that they too had ordered her sweatshirt. They were not shocked to see their order being delivered one month late.
“I am from Australia i finally got my Clark jumper (sweatshirt) after a month 👏🏻”
One more fan came with their woes. They said that they ordered their pick back in April on the draft night. However, their shipment details apparently mention that the package will be delivered in August. It is certainly quite inconvenient because then the 2024 WNBA season will already be halfway through. At least the fan can be happy that they will have one for the remaining half this season and then the subsequent ones.
“Mine won’t arrive until August, I ordered it draft day or the day after💔”
Another X user was simply delighted to see how Caitlin Clark’s fandom all over the world is increasing. They also mentioned that she does not simply rule the basketball world but also beyond that. It is quite true that one of the primary reasons why sports analysts like Stephen A. Smith believe that Caitlin Clark should have gone to the Paris Olympics is simply because of her star power.
“Great to see so many famous performers wearing Caitlin Clark’s “22” jersey. Her fan following continues to expand – well beyond the world of professional basketball.”
A WNBA follower who seems to stay updated on entertainment as well mentioned how Adam Levine wore a few sizes larger than normal. It looks like they were comparing the Maroon 5 singer to Tim McGraw who also fashioned Clark’s jersey previously. On them, the look was quite fitting. While on Levine, the jersey appeared to be a little loose. They may also be pointing out the fact that many, if not all, sizes for the Indiana rookie’s jerseys are still unavailable on the website.
“Clearly. He got a few sizes larger than normal 👀”
There was also no shortage of financial planning advice in the comment section. One Caitlin Clark fan suggested that her $28 million/ 8-year deal with Nike was not sufficient considering the visible popularity. Sonny Vaccaro, who played a crucial role in Michael Jordan’s Nike deal, also addressed his disappointment before. The fan also mentioned that the arenas where she is playing are making millions of dollars in ticket sales. This is also true as the $1 million franchise record set by the Washington Mystics in the Capital One Arena was all thanks to the golden rookie herself.
“CC should’ve definitely got more than $28 mil for 8 years from Nike. Each arena is making million dollar revenue in ticket sales. It should’ve been more money or less years on the contract.”
