Impressed by the Liberty’s comeback win, Sheryl Swoopes talks about an interesting tactical change made by the Liberty coach in Game 3.

She said, “Besides the players, the coach Sandy Brondello made some adjustments in Game 3 that I thought was the difference. Taking Stewie (Breanna Stewart)?off of A’ja and putting her on Chelsea Gray. That link that Stewie brings disrupted Chelasea’s flow.”?

This brilliant move by the coach affected Chelsea Gray’s game as she was unable to shoot accurately.

In addition to this, Chelsea also struggled to freely pass the ball to her teammates. Sheryl further added, “Putting JJ on A’ja. JJ’s length bothered A’ja offensively.”?

Ignoring the matchup and creating her own strategy was one reason the Liberty took away the win.

The New York Liberty have turned the tables in the ongoing WNBA Finals. They made a terrific comeback and took Game 3 by 87-73 against the Aces. As a result, the Aces team that were looking to close the deal, will now head towards the Barclays Center again on Wednesday for Game 4.

The win was almost foreseeable for the Liberty as Jonquel Jones made 18 of her 27 points in the very first half of the game. There were many effortless shots and mistakes on the Aces’ part as well.
