However, following the WNBA’s salary cap adjustment in 2023, it slightly rose to $234,936. Stewart, although left nearly $55,000 on the table, opting to play at the Big Apple instead.

As of now, Stewie is only the fourth highest-paid player on Liberty’s roster, with Sabrina Ionescu earning the highest salary of $202,000 per year. Fortunately, Breanna Stewart, standing at 6’4 isn’t solely reliant on her WNBA salary.
