Kate ‘Money‘ Martin has received an average of 21 minutes in the four games she’s come off the bench. This has resulted in a scoring average of 6 points while the boards stand at 4.3 per contest. Her standout performance out of these four games was the one against her former teammate Caitlin Clark. Apparently, the 23-year-old registered 12 points and 7 rebounds while being 3 of 5 in shooting and 2 of 4 in threes.
The noteworthy stat that everyone has their eyes on is her beyond-the arc-efficiency. Currently, she is among the best long-range shooters in the locker room maintaining a record of 6 of 16 which accounts for 37.5% accuracy.
Keeping that in mind, the Aces may provide her some extra minutes in their upcoming fixture.
Kate Martin and Co. gear up to take down Atlanta
The Aces will be riding high on confidence when they travel to The Gateway Center Arena on Friday. The back-to-back WNBA champs are on a two-game winning streak against Indiana and Minnesota after their loss to the Mercury. On the other hand, Atlanta will enter the contest on the back of their impressive show against the Mystics.
While the Aces are currently ruling the Western Conference, the Dream are sitting below Connecticut and New York. This cross-conference face-off will be the last regular game for both teams before the Commissioner’s Cup kicks in.
