“It was good to get a little reset.” A much-needed reset indeed! Caitlin Clark has been making the most of WNBA’s break for the Olympics. Instead of being gloomy due to the infamous snub, the Indiana Fever rookie has turned the reason for not playing into the happiest one ever. After spending days in Mexico with her “mermaid” teammates Lexie Hull and Katie Lou Samuelson, the first overall pick is back in Indianapolis. However, the break is still on and so is the enjoyment.
Beat writer for the Indiana Fever Scott Agness recently tweeted Caitlin Clark’s outing update. The 2x National Player of the Year is out and about in the city and joined Jordan Davis for the last day of his concert. The tweet read, “Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull join Jordan Davis on stage to conclude his show in Indy.” Along with it is a video of the two professional basketball players on stage with the country pop singer.

Clearly, Caitlin Clark is giving her fans the content that they desperately wanted during the hiatus. Right after the rookie’s first-ever WNBA All-Star game, her loyalists were struck by a shocking reality. They will not see their favorite player hoop for at least a month. In fact, the fans were not the only ones who were looking forward to some healthy content by the Des Moines native.
Caitlin Clark gets spammed by content requests by this “friend”
Relationships have been the key aspects that Caitlin Clark has always cherished over her basketball career. Her friendship with Iowa teammate turned WNBA peer Kate Martin is one example. One more person who has walked through every road with the 2x Honda Cup winner is her photographer Bri Lewerke. She is a professional photographer who now is a full-time Indiana Fever fan as well, thanks to their lottery pick this year in the drafts.
Bri Lewerke has been posting Instagram stories and posts showing how much she misses Caitlin Clark on the floor. She recently posted a series of photos on her social accounts with the caption, “Waiting for Fever gamedays to come back ❤️” But that’s not it. She has multiple posts on the Indiana team pointing to the fact that Bri is no longer simply a photographer for the squad. Her other posts read, “Just a few mermaids.” She even posted one series just four days after the 2024 WNBA All-Star game that said, “Who else is already missing Fever basketball?” Interestingly, the current assists leader in the league had a prompt comment of, “Me.”
