However, she is making sure that everyone knows her name, regardless. In the last eight weeks, we have seen the Dallas Wings point guard become a mainstay in the team. But, outside of the lines as well, she is doing some wonders. In fact, she just might be leading the race for total earnings with her latest inked deal.
Nick DePaula shared Jacy Sheldon’s limelight of the day with his X followers mentioning, “OFFICIAL: Dallas Wings pg Jacy Sheldon has signed a signature shoe deal with upstart brand HOLO. @JacySheldon’s multi-year deal includes annual pay, equity in the company & royalty % on sales of her HOLO signature shoe, expected to launch at start of 2025 WNBA season.”
Talking to the Footwear News, Jacy Sheldon spoke about the newbie in the basketball business. She said, “From the very first interaction, it was clear that Holo not only talks about their core values of family, loyalty, grit, purpose, leadership and being fearless, but they live it.” The rookie further added, “This alignment of values with my own mission of making a difference on and off the court made it a perfect match. Holo felt like a natural extension of who I am and what I strive to achieve, both personally and professionally.”

Details of Jacy Sheldon’s new business venture
Holo Footwear may not be a household name yet. However, they are moving their pegs in the right direction to be one. The company launched in 2020 and made its debut in the basketball world just a year back. In December 2023, Isaac Okoro of the Cleveland Cavaliers became a part of the rising brand. Similar to the former Buckeyes star, he too grabbed a stake in the company for ownership. However, surely, Jacy Sheldon is sweeping a lot more than the guard.

The Ohio State alum will be launching her signature shoe with Holo in 2025. While the release dates are not out yet, we have a few clues on how she wants the cleats to be built. Talking about the design of the shoes, Jacy Sheldon mentioned, “I’m excited to share the shoes with athletes who are passionate about their game and determined to push their limits.”

According to her, the shoes will be lightweight with unique details and colors. Certainly, the Midwestern girls are taking the reins over the footwear business in women’s basketball. Previously, it was Iowa’s Caitlin Clark with her $28 million for an 8-year deal with Nike. Now, it is Jacy Sheldon sending tremors over the sporting world and will surely rock the floor as well.
