The popular NCAA player Angel Reese was drafted as the seventh overall pick by the Sky, and it adds another glorious feather to Spoon’s cap.

Although not many details are out in the public, Weatherspoon in the mainstream media hasn’t been known to form a romantic relationship with anyone. The closest relationship she has is with Zion Williamson. Williamson plays for the New Orleans Pelicans where Weatherspoon was an assistant coach from 2020-23.

Williamson and Weatherspoon share a close bond as once after hearing the ordeals of the former, Spoon started crying. The 23-year-old shared on numerous occasions that Weatherspoon was his go-to person for any emotional turmoil. However, as per his own admission, he regards her as his elder sister. But then who is Weatherspoon romantically involved with?

Weatherspoon, as per Whosdatedwho, was once in a relationship with Tyra Banks. Banks is a media personality and dons a variety of hats from being a model to a producer. She is the name behind the fabulous America’s Next Top Model Show. The California-born is also known to have hosted Dancing with the Stars in 2020.

Apart from Weatherspoon, Banks is said to have relations with Will Smith, and Tiger Woods. As per Daily Mail, she dated Banks between 1993 and 94.  The duo are said to have met when she was auditioning for The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Similarly, Woods was also linked to the supermodel during the 90s. And Spoon is also said to have dated Bank around 1999.

Apart from a successful TV and film career, Banks also ventured into cosmetics, music, and writing. With such an enormous repertoire of talents, she got the opportunity to teach personal branding at Stanford University. However, nothing has ever been confirmed regarding the same by either Banks or Weatherspoon. But there have been rumors in the industry that Weatherspoon could be gay. 

Weatherspoon has lived such a private life that there are not many sources even regarding her orientation. She most probably believes in keeping her personal life away from the media and taking away all the attention with her performances during her 7-year short but illustrious career in the WNBA.
