Back in her college basketball days, Stephanie White was quite an eminent figure. The 1995 USA Today Player of the Year architected a historic Purdue campaign in which she led the basketball program to their first-ever national championship. Anyhow, that wasn’t the only celebratory occasion for her at that time. Seemingly, she also decided to exchange vows with her college High School sweetheart Brent McCarty.

Sadly, she could be a McCarty for only four years as the couple decided to part ways in 2002. Following this, she decided to move to Nashville, Tennessee. Then, this unapologetic former Purdue shooting guard took steps to overcome her homophobia and publicly acknowledge her sexual orientation. Proudly advocating same-sex marriages, the then-Indiana coach came forth with her second marriage to Michelle Fletcher in 2015. Both of them were together for quite some time and had three children.

She opened up about it more in an interview with the Indianapolis Business Journal in 2015. She said, “I am the same Stephanie White the person who was married to a man as Stephanie White the person who is married to a woman. If you can get people who may not know or don’t know they know someone in a same-sex relationship to have an appreciation for a person versus the type of relationship they’re in, I think it hits home. And more than anything, because I have kids, and I want my kids to see the world through a little bigger lens. I want my kids to see our family the same as any other family.”

Despite that, there have been numerous rumors circulating about her alleged affair with ESPN reporter Lisa Salters.

Although there is no official announcement made, the Instagram account of the Sun’s head coach does indicate a relationship with Salters. As it turns out, there have been pictures of them together which White flaunts on multiple occasions in numerous posts. Moreover, there is a post featuring both of them together captioned, “#DateNightIsBack.” Similarly, the 58-year-old sports commentator also has a post of White in which she lovingly applauds her hard work. Additionally, there are also pictures of them together at charity events, Napa Valley, live games, and in the school functions of their kids. It appears that they are raising 5 boys together.

Now, it is still not conclusive whether or not they are married. Still, one thing that is looking quite evident is that they are together and White is no longer with Michelle Fletcher.
