We all have friends who never pick up the bill, right? Well, so does Caitlin Clark. In the most recent episode of The Eli Manning Show, the Indiana Fever star was faced with a tough situation. Clark and Manning were playing a game of putt-putt Q&A. The rules were simple–if you make the shot, you don’t have to answer the question. If you miss, however, you have to give an honest response.
And even though Clark is a verified sniper on the basketball court, her mini-golf game isn’t up to par! The Fever star kept on missing, and the questions kept on getting a whole lot better! For starters, she was asked who on the Indiana Fever would be the least likely to pick up the check during team dinner.
“Least likely? Probably Lexie, Lexie Hull.” Clark said after she missed her shot. Hull, a six-foot-one guard, is one of the most exciting prospects on the Fever. Not only that, she’s making some pretty good money. The Indiana Fever guard is on a 3 year, $217,502 contract with Indiana, and aside from some growing pains, she performed well in limited minutes last year.

To see her named as the least likely person to pick up a bill is surprising when she’s making that kind of bank! It wasn’t just Hull who caught the short end of the stick on the show though, as Caitlin Clark threw another one of their teammates under the bus.
Caitlin Clark’s star teammate got dunked on!
CC kept dropping bombs while she was on The Eli Manning Show. The Indiana Fever star, after exposing Lexie Hull, had no problem with throwing another teammate, a fellow All-Star under the bus. One of the last questions that Eli Manning asked her during the putt-putt challenge was quite an interesting one.

“You’re at a carnival, and there’s a dunk tank there. Which WNBA players do you want in the tank?” Manning asked, before clarifying that it could be a teammate. Caitlin Clark, to her credit, tried her hardest to make the shot. But it just wouldn’t bank in!

Indiana Fever forward Aliyah Boston (7) celebrates with Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark (22) altering recording a triple-double Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024, during the game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The Indiana Fever defeated the Los Angeles Sparks, 93-86.
“Honestly? I’m going [to the other half of] my post duo… I’m going Aliyah Boston.” She said, giving a name that no one expected! The dynamic duo struck fear in the heart of the league last year, and always looked like good friends on the court. Clark had a smirk on her face as she explained why. “She’s always talking cr-p about me, so this is my chance to get a little revenge.”

What’s your perspective on:
Lexie Hull's contract is hefty, but is she really the last to pick up the tab?
Have an interesting take?
There’s no doubt that Caitlin Clark had an interesting outing on The Eli Manning Show. She certainly shared a lot about her teammates! It’s fitting, considering how well the unit played together last year, and not just CC and Boston. The Indiana Fever look to contend for a title this year, and with how close-knit the squad is, their chemistry should certainly hold up when the going gets tough.
