Caitlin Clark has that Mamba Mentality! The Indiana Fever phenom gives it everything she has on the court, and she won’t stop before she wins. Her ROTY season was a perfect example of this, and her off-court ventures would make the Black Mamba proud.

After years of wearing Kobes on the court, Caitlin Clark is all set to have a customized pair of her own! Shesigned a record-breaking deal with Nike last year, earning her millions of dollars. However, her signature shoe line is a while away from being ready.

But Nike and CC are all set to honor the late and great Kobe Bryant in their own special way. New Kobe 5 Protros have been announced by the Indiana Fever and Nike.

The shoes look amazing! They feature Indiana Fever colors, a navy finish and an orange gradient on the Nike logos on the heels, the tongue, and the swoosh. Currently, they are player-exclusive with only Caitlin Clark owning a pair.

 

Even though they aren’t CC’s signature shoes, fans cannot wait to get their hands on a pair. No exact release date has been announced for these Kobe V Protros, but they will be releasing this year. Nike and Caitlin Clark are bringing the heat together, and have a lot of projects underway.

“So Win” and other endeavours in the books for Caitlin Clark

If there’s an athlete that embodies Nike and what they stand for, it is Caitlin Clark. The Iowa alum has been repping the swoosh for years now, and her contract extension has guaranteed that we will be seeing the duo for a long time.

Recently, Caitlin Clark, A’ja Wilson, and Sabrina Ionescu represented the WNBA on the largest level, appearing in Nike’s first Super Bowl adappearing in Nike’s first Super Bowl ad since 1998. Clark was seen wearing Kobe 9 Elite Low ‘Moonlight’ colorways in the trailblazing advertisement.

The commercial signalled a new direction for the footwear company, as they look to capitalize on the new popularity of women’s sports. It was an amazing endeavour, and fans loved it! ‘So Win’ was triple the size of an average Super Bowl ad, and focused on conveying an athlete’s struggles and triumphs. Caitlin Clark featured heavily in it, drawing new fans to the sport.

Not only that, sources placed Clark at the Nike HQ recently to discuss and plan her signature shoe. The plans for the line were delayed because of the release of A’ja Wilson’s A’One shoes, but they will be coming soon.

Caitlin Clark is one-of-a-kind, and fans can’t wait to see her success moving forward. Whether it be in Kobes, or in her own shoe, she will play to win.
