“Funny!” Cameron Brink very rightly described the ever-so-serious on-court Caitlin Clark. Everyone saw some clips of her enjoying herself with her teammates at Iowa. But we are seeing a lot more of her goofy side in the W. And seems like playing Mermaid with the Indiana Fever roster and taking photos of the fans was not enough for this rookie. Hence, as Bri Lewerke shared more photos of this fun-loving 22-year-old, fans cannot help but be in awe of her adorable side.
Bri Lewerke captioned the Instagram post, “A few pregame shots of the always entertaining @caitlinclark22 from the Fever v Mercury game 🤪💙” The sports photographer has been around Caitlin Clark since she was a Hawkeye.
In the shots, we can see zoomed-in photos of Caitlin Clark having fun before the home game against the Phoenix Mercury. However, looks like she did not know how closely the lens was following her. Hence, when she saw the post, all she could comment was, “I had the zoomies soooo bad.” To this, Lewerke responded with, “@caitlinclark22 just in a lil silly goofy mood!!!”

Certainly, the game itself also had as much energy. The first-overall pick pushed the team again after a late third-quarter slump. Still, while the fans loved her game, they are loving these photos as well.
Caitlin Clark brings out her goofy side to win fans’ hearts
The followers of the Des Moines native are passionate about how she plays the game. But they are also absolutely in love with how she is off the floor. Seeing these photos that Bri Lewerke did a fine job with, the fans fondly cherish the two bests of their streams. An Instagram user commented on their thoughts, mentioning how they love seeing the rookie relaxed.
Certainly, most of the goofy moments that we have seen by Caitlin Clark have been after the team’s rough schedule in the opening weeks. Since then, they have not just practiced but also spent leisure time together, which is clearly improving their on-court chemistry. The fan also ensured that they complement the person behind the lens for their efforts.
“Love to see her happy, relaxed, and smiling! Awesome photos as always, Bri! ❤️”
One fan wrote down the obvious as they called the current assists leader in the WNBA adorable. We have previously seen Caitlin Clark sing Taylor Swift songs. We also saw her play around with her teammates and even touch the water of the Olympics trial. Of course, all for fun and laughter.
“Caitlin is utterly adorable!”
A Caitlin Clark follower joined everyone as they also appreciated Bri Lewerke for sharing these photos. They called the rookie a puppy, probably suggesting that her energy and overall aura are simply unmatched by any human. The fan also mentioned how they love the silly basketball player, which seems like she will not change any time soon.
“She really is like a puppy 😭I love seeing how silly she is. Thank you for sharing these pics with us bri!”
In the last few games, we have seen Caitlin Clark grow comfortable as Indiana has now officially played with every team in the league at least once. With the comfort, she is also bringing in her leadership. We have seen her shift the pace of the game to her team’s benefit. Also, she has motivated her teams towards the final 20 minutes where they seemed to slow down previously. Hence, when a fan says that her energy is contagious on the court, we have proof of that. Outside the lines, we also see how Lexie Hull, Erica Wheeler, Aliyah Boston, and other Fever players are trying to catch up with her inner goof.
“Her energy is contagious on and off the court! These photos are fire Bri 🔥 you one up yourself every time! 🙌🏽”
Another Caitlin Clark follower came into the comment section to appreciate the photographer. They also mentioned how Lewerke’s instincts and the rookie’s photogenic abilities complement each other perfectly. They did not forget to mention how if there is anyone that a person with a camera would love to shoot, it would be the No. 22 guard.
“You guys are a great match lol nobody more fun to photograph than this girl❤️”
