No one can deny that when there is a list of achievements, most of the time Caitlin Clark takes the floor. Whether it be her NCAA days when she surpassed the legendary Pete Maravich as the men’s and women’s leading all-time scorer or taking the Iowa Hawkeyes to two consecutive Championship Finals, Clark has done it all. She reached another milestone with her partner Aliyah Boston when she performed exceptionally against the Chicago Sky.
Boston and Clark became the second pair of athletes to have at least 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists while shooting 60% or better from the floor. While Clark put 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists, Boston smoked 19 points, 14 rebounds, and 4 assists. Meanwhile, the only other pair to do so was Brittney Griner and Candice Dupree back in 2014 while plying their trade for the Phoenix Mercury.
Aliyah Boston and Caitlin Clark today are just the 2nd pair of teammates in WNBA history to each put up 15/8/4 while shooting 60% or better from the field in the same game.

Notably, Clark and Boston have both met each other during their time at the NCAA. While Clark plied her trade for the Iowa Hawkeyes from 2020-2024, Boston used to play for the South Carolina Gamecocks from 2019-2023. Later, Boston was selected as the number one pick for the WNBA 2023 draft by the Indiana Fever. Similarly, Clark went in as the number-one pick in the 2024 season.
Though the Fever have lost 10 games and own only 5, it is good progress considering that the last two years’ champions Las Vegas Aces have won 6 and been defeated in an equal number of games. Hence, this is a good play by the Fever who seem to be recovering from their previous year’s abysmal display and putting on a show by forming a formidable team. Plus, they also defeated the Chicago Sky.
Caitlin Clark & Co. slam Chicago Sky
Clark and her team destroyed the Chicago Sky with a 91-83 margin. This was the second game in this year’s WNBA when the Sky had to face defeat from the Fever. In the previous game, the Fever had edged past the Sky by a 71-70 margin. This game also had its moments, especially when Reese shoved Clark to the ground while going for a block. It was tagged as a flagrant 1 foul.
As for the score, the game looked to be equally poised up until the fourth quarter in which the Fever took an unassailable lead by nudging the scoreboard to 70-68. From that point onwards Boston, Clark, and NaLyssa Smith gave their best and helped the Fever win the game.
