After all the bickering from the Las Vegas Aces fans, the day finally came bearing gifts for A’ja Wilson. Two days ago, A’ja posted a photo on her Instagram handle wearing a black crop-sweat shirt from Nike with ‘Of Course I Have A Shoe Dot Com’ written on it. The quote directs people to Nike’s website showcasing the announcement of her own signature shoes. Now, dropping another powerful beat a day before the season takes off, A’ja is all style in her latest feature with Boardroom.
She is featured in the Boardroom’s latest cover story video, which was on the brand’s Instagram page. In the video, A’ja is talking about her dream of going for a 3-peat which goes, “The fuel for a 3-peat is just waking up every day and someone does not like my team. That’s my fuel. It has sense to where you’re going to get the best A’ja on the court. I don’t know that Imma name them.”
“Money can buy happiness. It could buy you a whole lot of things which can make you happy. Championship is the standard. That’s all we do when we step on this court. That is our mindset. I don’t know, it’s people still out there saying it ain’t good enough, and that right there is all I need,” she further adds, describing how criticism works as a motivation for her and the Aces.

She also acknowledges how Boardroom has grown with time in its journey of representing female athletes all these years, saying, “To see Boardroom and just see how much it has grown over these years, and particularly highlights women athletes. It’s going to be a lot of fun just being on the cover.” It has been a memorable few days for the 27-year-old. Before gracing Boardroom’s cover story, Wilson finally got her well-deserved sneaker deal.
