In the second game of the best-of-five series between the Aces and the Liberty, it was broadcasted that Plum was playing with a broken finger. In an interview after the second game, on being asked if she was playing with the broken finger, Plum said ?No.? As the series comes to an end, Plum recently made an appearance on ?The Pat Mcafee Show.??
During the interview, Plum was asked again whether she was playing with a broken finger in the Finals Series. In her response, Plum said, ?I mean you guys know at that part of the season, everybody?s kind of hanging on by a thread. Whatever it is, knees, ankles, shoulders, backs. Mine happened to be fingers, so to me, it was a win.?
She further continued, ?It was on my left hand, both of them are broken but at the same time like what are you gonna do? You know you gotta just suck it up and go win, nobody cares.? Plum?s dedication to still play and help her team win the championship, even with broken fingers shows her true spirit as a champion.
