A'ja Wilson's pre-game fit screams confidence—are we about to witness a legendary performance tonight?

A second face off between the Las Vegas Aces and the Minnesota Lynx in 2 days is going down at the Target Center. After a disappointing 87-98 loss at home, the back-to-back champions will look to settle the scores in this all-important road game. And from the looks of it, the team’s prolific center A’ja Wilson is dead set on owning the night.

It’s always exciting for the fans to witness the glamorous tunnel walks of the Las Vegas Aces. And it was no different this time around as well. However, for A’ja Wilson it became a serious affair. Getting her game face on, the 28-year-old donned a white tee with light beige trousers. Moreover, a pair of classy white Nike sneakers perfectly complimented her attire. This is in contrast with the usual sassy outfits she normally prefers.

Well, if we take a look back at how her outfits relate to her game, white has always reflected her determination to win. She wore an identical tee in the Aces’ home game against the LA Sparks earlier this month. Scoring a fantastic double-double in that game, she led the hosts to an 87-71 win. Following this, she connected her apparel with the result through a tweet on X. Wilson posted, “Wrinkle white tee for the win.”

And perhaps this is the reason why her supporters are excited to witness her execute something similar tonight.

Fans expecting another A’ja Wilson Special

The last time A’ja Wilson wore a white tee, the Aces hosted LA at the Michelob ULTRA Arena. The night ended with the dynamic No.22 registering 34 points, and 13 rebounds to go along with 5 steals and 2 blocks while being 60% efficient from the field. Breathing a sigh of relief on seeing her appear in a similar color for the Lynx game, one X user expected Wilson to aim a little higher. The comment read, “Yep seen all I needed to see, 40 point game incoming.”

Have an interesting take?

The Aces are not having the best of seasons. Occupying a 5th rank overall and being 3rd in the Western Conference, a 17-10 record questions their dominance of the previous 2 seasons. Now, with one half of the season still remaining, fans are getting superstitious in their desire to have a three-peat. Expressing that, one of them commented, “Need to just wear a white T for the rest of the season.”

The Las Vegas Aces and the Minnesota Lynx have played 3 games so far this season. Out of those, the 4xWNBA champions hold the upper hand with a 2-1 lead in the series. Still, some of Wilson’s supporters believe that her arriving in a white tee is bad news for her opponents. “In a white tee. Oh Lynx it’s not looking too good,” one of Wilson’s enthusiasts wrote.

One of the other things that grabbed attention from A’ja Wilson’s tunnel walk was the look on her face. More often than not, she arrives at her fixtures being all bubbly and in a jolly mood. But the fact that the Aces lost against the Lynx last time around brought a very stern expression out of her. Witnessing that, a fan had to day, “I’m scared for the lynx tonight, yall see that look in her face.”

Considering the fact that a white tee brings success to A’ja Wilson, one of them believed that the same approach should be adopted by the entire franchise including the head coach. The comment read, “Now we need the rest of the squad to pull out their white tees .. Becky included.”

White Tee or not, there is no denying that A’ja Wilson knows how to make the best of her abilities. On countless occasions, she has been the driving force in getting the Aces over the line. We’ll have to wait and see whether or not that happens tonight.
