Flau’jae Johnson is a superstar. Straight from playing with the WNBA rookie Angel Reese at Louisiana State University and clinching the championship to having her own rapping album, Johnson is on the brink of making it big. Hence, as they say with more power comes more responsibility. Johnson displayed the same attitude when she surprised Serena Williams and her family by bringing a special gift for her 6-year-old daughter Olympia.
Johnson’s snippet with Olympia while signing an LSU jersey for her went viral and was posted online by ESPNW on Monday. Johnson along with signing the jersey could be seen posing with Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian. She had pictures with both the star parents and with their daughter apart from a separate snap with the couple together.
“Flau’Jae linked up up Serena and the fam in New Orleans,” read the caption of the ESPNW channel. Notably, New Orleans is the place where Serena tied the knot with Alexis in November 2017. Therefore, it would have been great for the family to receive a special gift for their firstborn from Johnson in the same city.

Johnson too posted the same pictures with the family along with a caption for each of them. While she looked like thanking the celebrity couple by enumerating “Aspire To Inspire Before You Expire,” Johnson looked inviting to Olympia with open arms for a workout. “This is why women’s sports is important. See Ya Soon For Our First Workout,” Johnson had added in the caption. Plus, she also thanked the LSU NIL store for getting her Johnson’s jersey with her lucky number 4 written on it. However, Johnson was also in the news recently for her rap song.
Flau’jae Johnson enchants fans with her rap song
Johnson recently on her Instagram account dropped the snippet of her video Pop It. She was seen grooming in hip style and flaunting her amazing rapping skills. She enchanted all with her verses and showed that she knew how to build a career in the music industry too. In her latest album ‘Best of Both Worlds’ as the name suggests she had verses that reflected how much she enjoyed balling and rapping.
Notably, Johnson has been rapping since she was just 14 years old. And fans are waiting for the day when she signs one of her albums and gifts it to them.
Perhaps, it is these moments that highlight the importance of Johnson’s skills and how she has attracted a lot of fans even while staying in the shadows. Hopefully, next, we will be able to see her playing basketball to the tune of her rap.
