Every time that the Seattle Storm meets the Indiana Fever, the game becomes a three-point shooting competition. Last time, Jewell Loyd took the cake as she defeated Caitlin Clark in her own game of deep shooting. This time, the two will be meeting for the last time in the regular season. With the Storm already having won thrice against Indiana, there is a chance of a clean sweep. However, the Fever has won 7 of the 10 games against teams above .500 in the league.
So, can the well-rested Indiana keep Seattle from cleaning the slate with the green? Here are the predictions, injury report, and probable starting five for the marquee matchup.

Coming from Iowa, Caitlin Clark was expected to pull up for Logo-3s and deep shots more often than not. However, the scale did not tip in her direction for the first half of the season. Nevertheless, she has returned from a long break filled with fun and practice. The Fever will be entering its home arena having won the season series over the Phoenix Mercury where Clark was more than a handful. But tomorrow’s game is also just as important. While ESPN’s Matchup Predictor mentions a 62.1% chance for the Storm, even the 37.9% in Indiana’s favor might work.
For some time now, Caitlin Clark and Co. have shocked the teams above the .500 mark. They have defeated the New York Liberty, Phoenix, and the Minnesota Lynx. On their target remains the Las Vegas Aces and the Seattle Storm. Going by the looks of how the Fever played and responded yesterday, they still have an opportunity to grab this game. They were fast-paced, up-tempo, and worked on both ends of the floor.

But the Storm is no rook either. While they did lose their last game vs the Atlanta Dream, the difference was merely one possession. And with a chip on their shoulder, they just might give the Fever a run for their money. On this side, Jewell Loyd will be running the offense, averaging 20.2 points per game. On the other hand, Caitlin Clark has been creating over 50% of her team’s points, meaning, if her monster wakes up tomorrow, the rookie just might avoid the sweep.

Injury report and starting five for the Fever vs the Storm
If it ain’t broke, why fix it? Seems like that is exactly what Christie Sides will be going with once again. Hence, repeating her usual starters, the hosts will open the game with Caitlin Clark leading the floor. Katie Lou Samuelson, Aliyah Boston, NaLyssa Smith, and Kelsey Mitchell should join her. On the other hand, Seattle’s Noelle Quinn will also send her offensive powerhouses.
These are Jewell Loyd and Nneka Ogwumike. Skylar Diggins-Smith, Jordan Horston, and Ezi Magbegor will make up the starting five for the Storm. Interestingly, this matchup will be the first time that the Olympic Bronze medalists Kristy Wallace and Ezi Magbegor will go against each other after playing for the Opals together.
As for the injuries, Indiana has Temi Fagbenle, who is still nursing her thumb which she injured in a game before the Olympic breaks. Seattle has Mackenzie Holmes, who remains out for the season due to her knee injury. Apart from these, there are no injuries to report.
