The Indiana forecast will show a probable rain of threes yet again as two of the top deep shooters go head-to-head again. Off the court, Sabrina Ionescu and Caitlin Clark may be friends, but inside the lines, they have shown they mean business. However, the experienced New York Liberty has got the better of the Indiana Fever every time and is leading with a 3-0 record in this series.

Still, the young Fever has also shown how they can switch the table any time like they did for the Phoenix Mercury. But will that confidence be enough for the hosting Indiana to win over the 2024 Commissioner’s Cup finalists?

The home of basketball will welcome the Liberty for one final time at home in the regular season. Fortunately for them, they have no injured players listed for this game. After a long wait, Damiris Dantas had returned to Indiana following her VISA issues. However, she has only stepped on the floor for a couple of minutes in the last game vs the Las Vegas Aces. As for the starters, Christie Sides mixed and matched a little in the last game. Katie Lou Samuelson made an entry then. With her were the usual four NaLyssa Smith, Aliyah Boston, Kelsey Mitchell, and Caitlin Clark.

For the visitors, Nyara Sabally is still in the OUT status. But her estimated return shows that the 24-year-old forward will be making a comeback tomorrow. She was also available for the team’s complete shootaround back on Tuesday. Previously, it was notified that the team would make an update on her. Still, we do not have any good news from her end. The Oregon alum last played for the team on June 1 against the Washington Mystics and has missed 12 games so far in the season due to back issues.

Sandy Brondello is set to send in Betnijah Laney-Hamilton, Breanna Stewart, Jonquel Jones, Courtney Vandersloot, and Sabrina Ionescu to start off. These five have been quite lucky for New York as they try to stay at the top of the league. Let us look at the prediction for this game.

Predicting the matchup of Caitlin Clark and her All-Stars trio against the Olympian duo

It is never not ecstatic as Sabrina Ionescu and Caitlin Clark go head-to-head. Whether you look at their shots from beyond the arc or their facilitating plays, these two guards are setting and meeting some standards of the league. But this game will be so much more than just these two. All-Star duos from the Fever in Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell are also showing great forms from the past few games. Still, they are running on a 2-3 win-loss record in their last five games.

On the other hand, the Liberty has won 4 of its last 5 games and is the current table topper for the entire WNBA. Not to mention, the team’s chemistry is undeniably visible as they try to get the better of their opponents. For them, Jonquel Jones, another All-Star is becoming an up-and-coming name as she dominates the paint. Of Course, Breanna Stewart’s experience is a great support for the 2023 WNBA finalists as well.

Hence, it is safe to say that the young group in Indiana has some homework laid out for them. It will be interesting to see if Caitlin Clark can find her inner true point guard again as she did against Diana Taurasi. Most importantly, because it will be their last regulation game matchup and the Fever would want at least one win in this series.
