Ionescu and Grasu were both exceptional athletes at the University of Oregon. But they didn’t belong at the same time. Grasu played for the Ducks from 2011 to 2014, and in his last three seasons, he was selected for first-team All-Pac-12. He was also chosen for first-team All-American in 2013 and 2014. The Chicago Bears drafted him in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He played for them before moving on to other teams like the Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans, and San Francisco 49ers. The Las Vegas Raiders signed him to their practice squad in October 2021. And, he played in four games this year, including the Week 15 game against the New England Patriots, which he started.
