All this has catapulted Clark to new heights. And commemorating her achievements, the W honored her with the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the second time in a row. Clark with this achievement joined A’ja Wilson as the only other player in the W this season to have two back-to-back conference title games. Wilson had achieved the feat in the Western Conference when she averaged 36.3 points with 13 rebounds and 3 blocks per game from 26th August to September 1. Other than that, Wilson also has May, June, and July Western Conference Player of the Month awards this W season. As for Mitchell’s contribution, a lot of admirers advocated for her.
