A video was recently shared by a former WNBA player, Liz Cambage, on her Instagram story. In the video NBA legend Allen Iverson was seen getting his hair braided by his mom courtside. This video was originally posted by NBA History and NBA on their official Instagram page.

Many fans wanted to know why Iverson kept the cornrow hairstyle. And according to the NBA, Iverson just kept this hairstyle so his hair wouldn?t get messed up every now and then.

He said, ?People were making a big deal about it, like it was a thug thing, but I was tired of messing my hair up on the road. If I could get a cornrow, I wouldn?t have to worry about that.?
