The Las Vegas Aces trumped the New York Liberty during the WNBA Championship Finals. The top-seeded team during the regular season sealed another title for themselves consecutively. And they could do this only at the back of a spectacular display from their players. One such player added a line of records to her portfolio with this win.

What did A’ja Wilson achieve?

The Las Vegas Aces shared a post on Instagram along with A?ja Wilson that listed her achievements in the postseason. As per the post, A?ja Wilson became the only player to have two back-to-back postseasons with more than 200 points and 100 rebounds in the WNBA?s history.

While she played 10 games in 2022 and basketed 203 points and 104 rebounds during the 2022 season, the 27-year-old featured in 9 games during the 2023 season and pocketed 214 points and 106 rebounds.

Apart from achieving this rare feat, as per CBS Sports Wilson also became the first player to have three consecutive 30 points game during the playoffs. She scored 30+ consecutively during Round 1’s last match against the Chicago Sky and then replicated her performance in the first two games against the Dallas Wings.

She also joined former WNBA champion Lisa Leslie to have won multiple MVP awards, multiple championship titles, multiple Defensive Player of the Year awards and the Finals? MVP.
