Through the Caitlin Clark Foundation, she awarded four $22,000 grants to local Iowa charities that played a pivotal role in her journey. These grants went to the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital, Coralville Community Food Pantry, Boys and Girls Club of the Corridor, and Special Olympics Iowa-East Central.

Clark’s bond with Iowa runs deep, and she made sure to reflect on it in a touching statement, “One of my favorite things about Iowa City is the way the community is connected and how everyone supports each other. It is something I felt during my time here and is important to me that I stay connected with. I am proud to be a part of each of these organizations’ efforts and the meaningful impact they provide for the people of Iowa.”

Caitlin Clark wasn’t done! For her 23rd birthday, she teamed up with Scholastic’s national literacy program to create a lasting legacy. Through her foundation, she donated an impressive 22,000 books to schools in Iowa and Indiana, ensuring students in need had the resources to help them grow academically.

Caitlin reflected on her own childhood experience with the Scholastic flyer, recalling how empowering and motivating it was to read books, “I remember picking out the books from the Scholastic flyer and how empowering that was for me as a child, and how motivated I was to read.” “I want to help kids have the same experience, to develop their reading skills and open their imaginations to dream big.”
