Dealing with Liz Cambage is not easy. Aussies learned that hard way, and so did “the third world country” she wants to represent at the Paris Olympics. But before the next year’s global event, Cambage has found her way into the Chinese league.

Throughout her WNBA career, Cambage has played for various teams, never staying with one club for more than one season. She played her final game against her former team, the Aces. The Sparks lost that game with a score of 84-66. During the first half of the game, Liz constantly demanded that her teammates pass the ball to her. Even in the second half, when the ball was not in play, her teammates threw the ball to her out of humiliation. Following that bad play, she was mulling her moves and has now come up with a stunner.

One of the most contentious people in basketball history, Liz Cambage has apparently agreed to join Chinese side Sichuan on a $1 million, three-month deal. This news had the whole basketball world dropping their jaws. A WNBA Supermax contract has a cap of $234,936 each season, whereas Cambage is expected to make four times the amount.

This was indeed a revival phase for Liz, given the black marks she had on her resume. She uploaded the new feat to her Instagram story, hoping for a new beginning. She shared the post by Swishcultures, “Liz Cambage (@ecambage) contract worth $1 million/3 months for Chinese team.”

The 31-year-old abruptly left the Australian squad on the day of the competition, and her attempt to register to represent Nigeria was a complete failure. This was the result of the scandalous fallout from her expulsion from Australia’s Tokyo Olympics campaign.

A video that captured the beginning of the altercation was made public. Cambage’s elbow struck her opponent’s neck when she was battling for a rebounding position. Other media sources claim that after the incident, she threw racial obscenities at the Nigerian national team.
