After Clark’s WNBA playoff ended, she announced taking up golf in the off-season. Just days later, there were also reports that she would be participating in the Pro-Am in November. As a result of that, Clark -the perfectionist- is practicing alongside her teammate, Lexie Hull.
In a recent video released on the WBB official Instagram account, Clark took a shot at the hole. At first, it looked as if the ball had been potted and she looked extremely happy. However, on a closer look, it was revealed that the generational player missed her first hole-in-one. This visibly upset Clark, who was lying on the ground, as she yelled “No.” Though the frustration might have been short-lived as it was all fun, nonetheless, Hull looked amusingly concerned with her friend missing the hole.

Last year, Clark had been a part of the Pro-Am at the John Deere Classic where she had made an impact on Zach Johnson and Ludvig Aberg. Johnson had at that time stated, “I don’t know if transcendent is the right word, but what happened in the NCAA women’s tournament – as an Iowan but also as a fan of sports – was just spectacular.” Showing her love for golf, Clark revealed that, “Every Sunday, I usually have the TV on and am watching (the PGA TOUR).” As for Hull, this was not the first time she was practicing golf with Clark.
Caitlin Clark finds a worthy partner in Lexie Hull
“I would beg my dad to take me golfing,” Clark had stated about her love for golf as a kid. She even went to buy some economical pink-colored golf clubs as a child. Imbibing the love for the sport from her father, as per her admission, she would take up golfing whenever she would find time from her busy schedule. And now that Clark is in the W, she has found a perfect teammate in Hull to share her love for the sport.

When the W season was on, she found a golf bay along with her Indiana teammates. And as the moment would have it, Clark decided to swing the club. Her teammate Aliyah Boston cheered for Clark asking, “What isn’t she good at?” But when Hull hit the shot, she won. And this didn’t go down well with Clark in a humorous way so she decided to swing her club once again, and finally rested when she won.
