Zion has mentioned before that Teresa Weatherspoon is like his elder sister. Zion also shared how emotional she would become while he was down and would talk it out so he felt better. He has also talked about an emotional incident where he realized that their friendship was truly real. Apparently, once he was leaving the arena without any care when Spoon noticed him and asked if he was alright.

Insight into the career of Teresa Weatherspoon

Teresa Weatherspoon has taken interviews for the position of head coach in the NBA before. But this time she has landed in this high position for Chicago Sky. However, before returning to the WNBA as a head coach, she was a star player for the New York Liberty.

Spoon is most famous for her shot in the second game of the WNBA Finals back in 1999 that led to the Liberty’s victory. She has given eight seasons to the WNBA as a player and was a five-time title holder of All-Star.
