The Chicago Sky are displaying one of their best gameplay in the WNBA 2024 season. On the personal front, their star Elizabeth Williams had her birthday on June 23 and the Sky celebrated with equal zest and happiness in the locker room. Furthermore, the WNBA youngsters especially Angel Reese and Chennedy Carter were having fun and performing various antics. At that time, the Chicago Sky guard Dana Evans had a mom-like expression of disapproval. This caught the fancy of many.

On Thursday, when Evans was present during a Sky interview, she was asked about her mom-like expressions. And Evans just gave an insight into the team’s perfect chemistry.

Evans was asked why she looked like a mom in the locker room video. And Evans’ response revolved around team chemistry and its amicable relations. “This team scares me. Like we just…we just do stuff and we get…we just full of different personalities. But I love it. I feel like that’s what’s like making us come together even more but I’m never surprised with this team and that’s why my face was like that because I’m like here we go,” Evans said, via TJ Sports Queens.

Williams was the fourth overall pick by the Connecticut Sun in 2015 and started playing for the Chicago Sky in 2023. On the occasion of Williams’ 31st birthday, Reese and Carter were doing swoon-worthy antics. While Reese made everyone turn their heads with her ramp walk, Carter had her fun dance.

In one such moment, Carter without fearing any injury did a backflip. Watching her action, everyone laughed. However, Evans looked a little critical of Carter’s actions like mothers do when their kids do unusual stunts. The video of the same was posted by Marina Mabrey on her official TikTok channel where it went viral. It was posted on Women’s Hoops Network too and had a lot of fans going ga ga in the comment section. Meanwhile, on the professional front, Reese is making her mark.

Angel Reese and Chennedy Carter leave a mark

Recently, Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe came forward to support Reese after her win against the Indiana Fever on Sunday. She scored her eighth consecutive double-double in the game against the Fever and hence is now the frontrunner in winning the WNBA Rookie of the Year award. She is also placed at the seventh place in the voting for the WNBA All-Star list with 118,490 points.

Meanwhile, Carter is not too far behind Reese in the Sky lineup as she has scored 14.3 points per game with 2.5 assists per match. Hopefully, in the coming matches, she will continue to demonstrate her exceptional skills.
