The Indiana Fever edged past the Chicago Sky by a narrow margin of 71-70 on Saturday. The game had cut-throat competition as both teams battled to gain the upper hand. However, one moment that caught all eyes was when Sky’s guard Chennedy Carter pushed the Fever icon Caitlin Clark in the heat of the moment. Clark immediately fell to the floor and Carter’s actions divided the internet. While some came in support of Carter arguing that it was just a competitive game, others questioned the 25-year-old for her over-aggressive actions. But Carter seemed to display no remorse.

And now, Carter once again showed her unapologetic side when she was questioned by an ex-NBA star. This left Clark’s fans with their blood boiling.

Chennedy Carter gives a slick reply to Chandler Parsons

Carter took to her official X account on Saturday and replied to the former Houston Rockets star Chandler Parsons. Parsons on seeing the viral clip of Carter pushing Clark as the latter fell to the floor. Parsons sided with Clark and asked “where are her teammates?? Wtf” through his X account.

And Carter showed no signs of apologizing as she quickly remarked “I’m coo wit em now what” Carter even went ahead a step and tweeted “we grown asf & y’all talking about enforcer man gtfoh , hoop or shut up ….” Though she didn’t state overtly that it refers to the incident, fans speculate that she was referring to Clark and trying to point out that she is a grown-up woman who doesn’t need people speaking for her.

Meanwhile, watching Carter push Clark, her teammate Angel Reese who was on the bench during the incident also stood up and clapped while shouting a few words. Moreover, Reese was also seen laughing with Carter with her hand on her shoulders after the end of the third quarter. This further solidified the fact that Reese approved of her teammate’s actions. And Carter even in the postgame press conference carried on her high-headed attitude.

Chennedy Carter refuses to answer questions related to Caitlin Clark

As is usual, all reporters in the post-match press conference wanted to know what had led to Carter shoving Clark. The Texas-born however refused to comment and give any concrete answers related to Clark., which led to everyone believing that she was just being hostile, trying to put Clark at a physical disadvantage.

“I ain’t answering no Caitlin Clark questions. I don’t know what she said. I didn’t say anything,” Carter said while avoiding all questions, as per Fox Sports.

Now that Carter looks to be in denial mode, Clark will try to cover up her weakness with her skill and instead trick opponents with her three-pointer game which she is extremely good at. Meanwhile, fans might continue to voice their opinions against Carter.
