Chennedy Carter aka ‘Hollywood’ has been quite famous for her aggressive style of play this season. Chicago Sky’s guard while keeping a check on the WNBA No. 1 Draft pick, elbowed her out. Immediately, Carter was given a personal foul, which was later upgraded to Flagrant 1. Since then, Carter has been targeting Clark in interviews, tweets, and much more. Nearly a month later, Carter has found an intriguing way to poke at her biggest supporter.

In a recent Instagram story uploaded by Carter, a screenshot of an unusual request that offered her $18.75 to roast Caitlin Clark’s biggest fan was posted. It said, “Roast $18.75, Occasion for roast – Just for fun, what to roast them about? – Biggest Caitlin Clark fan.

In the first matchup against the Fever, Carter after losing the game declined to address any Caitlin Clark-related questions in the post-game conference. But she subsequently unveiled her feelings towards the Fever star by criticizing her game. While replying on Threads, she penned, “Besides three-point shooting, what does she bring to the table, man?”

Since the beginning of the WNBA 2024 season, Clark has hooked spectators to their seats with her impressive logo 3 attempts. Even in the last game against the Sky, she attempted 9 three-pointers, out of which 5 were successful. Notably, Clark accumulated 17 points and 6 rebounds in 40 minutes of gameplay. Coming back to Carter, unacceptable behavior from her is not something new.

A deeper look into Chennedy Carter’s WNBA journey

Carter has been suspended two times from WNBA teams due to her behavioral issues. Despite being one of the highest-drafted players in the team’s history, Carter fell short of disciplining herself to stay with the Atlanta Dream. In 2021, the Atlanta Dream officially suspended Carter for “conduct detrimental to the team.”

This occurred after Carter had an argument with Courtney Williams, which later turned into a fight. She was then traded to the LA Sparks for the following season. But soon, the LA Sparks benched her for “poor conduct.” However, the Sparks opted to keep her until the off-season as she was still under contract.

Unfortunately, all this left her struggling without a team for the entire 2023 season. But strategically, she opted to play professional basketball in Turkey with Bursa Uludag. As she displayed a stellar game, averaging 33 minutes and 25 points per game with Bursa, she signed with the Chicago Sky this season. What do you think? Is beef with Caitlin Clark the right thing to do considering Carter’s previous game history? Comment down below!
