Chelsea Gray's net worth is soaring—Is this a sign of growing respect for women's basketball?

A towering figure in women’s basketball, Chelsea Gray has captivated the fans and rivals alike. Her sharp passing skills and stellar basketball IQ mixed with standout court vision have earned her the moniker – ‘Point Gawd’. With her undeniable influence on the WNBA, her career brims with career-defining milestones that include multiple championship titles and All-Star selections.

For Las Vegas, she has been a pillar of strength even though she was down with her injury last year. But that didn’t stop her. She stayed beside her teammates and kept boosting them when they practiced in the gym. Perhaps that’s why she is considered an integral part of the close-knit Aces group. And surely, all these actions should get the much-deserved mints to her account.

Besides the league and the WNBA, Gray also makes the most of her off-season as she flies across the Atlantic. Before her inaugural season in the league, Gray had flown off to play in Isreal for Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion.

Then in the 2015-16 off-season, she went to Spain and played for the Spanish professional women’s basketball club from Girona called Uni Girona CB. In the same offseason, she played for Abdullah Gul Univerity’s Kayseri Basketbol club based in Kayseri, Turkey. She re-signed with the club and played the 2016-17 offseason there only.

However, for her next overseas stint, she signed with Botas SK, which is a women’s basketball club based in Ankara. Then for the 2020 season, she signed with Fenerbache women’s basketball, which is a part of a major Turkish multi-sport club based in Istanbul.
