Remember April 15, 2024? The WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert announced the second overall pick for the 2024 drafts and just like that, the Stanford alum Cameron Brink became one of the most touted WNBA stars. Her first stop? A club briming with music, people, and excitement as she walked into the venue with her family with a board mentioning her name floated behind her. Hence, no doubt the LA Sparks star knows how to party! But are strip club confessions not her cup of tea?
On the first episode of Straight to the Cam with Cameron Brink and Sydel Curry-Lee, the show hosts discuss a myriad of topics, including visits to the strip club. Brink lets out a rather heart-warming confession. “Strip clubs make me feel uncomfortable.” The WNBA star added, “If it was just women, I think I would be fine with it. But I think it’s really just being around men.”
Although it may sound incorrect how the literal life of the party can be uncomfortable around others, we have proof that she indeed prefers having a close group of friends to enjoy important moments. But listening to this, Curry-Lee couldn’t help but make a big deal out of it.

“So your confession is ‘I don’t really like men, except for Ben.'” Indeed, Cameron Brink laughed and agreed. Her 46-month-old relationship with Felter is going strong, with the couple getting engaged last September. And by the looks of it, when the former Cardinal said, “More than yesterday, less than tomorrow, she truly meant it.
Brink’s aversion to other men had Curry-Lee smiling, as they both bonded over how intimidating strip clubs are. “I just still feel like a baby,” Brink said, before Curry-Lee started talking about her embarrassing experiences with strip clubs.
It is honestly adorable how Cameron Brink responded to the concept of looking at other men. No doubt, Felter and Brink are indeed couple goals.
Cameron Brink and Ben Felter: A match made in Stanford’s heaven
“I manifested this!” No one will argue with Brink on this. The two Stanford athletes started dating around the beginning of their sophomore years in college, on March 10th, 2021. Felter is a computer science major, concentrating in artificial intelligence, but that’s not all, he’s also an athlete!
Standing tall at six-foot-seven, Felter has represented the Cardinals in their men’s rowing team, and men’s rugby team. It makes sense how both of them get along so well. After getting together in early 2021, the couple has been going strong ever since. Cameron Brink hard-launched her boyfriend in July of the same year, posting a collage of their time together.

Throughout their time at Stanford, the two lovebirds repped the Cardinals, but also each other. Ben Felter has found himself in a Brink jersey many times in the public eye, while Brink has supported her boyfriend with no hesitations.

After Cameron Brink got drafted, Felter was her biggest supporter. He put up tons of stories celebrating her accomplishments. A memorable one was when he had placed his phone in front of him during rowing practice. Nothing could stop him from watching her fulfill her dreams.

They have had their highs, and they have definitely had their lows. And through all this, they have survived and thrived! After Brink’s season-ending ACL tear, Ben Felter was right by her side. From sunny picnic with Brink’s dog Olive to the physiotherapy sessions, they stuck together.
And then when the time was right, Felter got down on one knee. It was a romantic affair, a Parisian night of celebration, as he proposed to her with a bouquet of flowers with the Eifel in sight. What only made it more special was the fact that Cameron Brink’s mother was right there, watching the magical love story of her daughter unfold right in front of her eyes.
They also don’t hold back when celebrating each other. Cameron Brink posted a beautiful set of photos on Felter’s birthday, showing how they spent their time together for the special occasion. Frank Sinatra’s ‘It Had To Be You’ was playing in the background, a perfect fit for how they are as a pair.
