Many would believe that former Stanford standout Cameron Brink didn’t have a fairytale start to her professional career. Just as she was starting to cement her feet in the league, a torn ACL will now keep the rookie out of action for the rest of the season. On top of that, the 2024 Lisa Leslie Award winner is forced to sit on the sidelines for the upcoming 3×3 Olympics. Nonetheless, that doesn’t mean that she can’t cherish some moments outside the domains of the hardwood.

The 22-year-old has recently undergone a successful surgery to heal her damaged ligament and is currently under rehabilitation. In spite of that, Brink made the most of her off-court time. Accompanied by her boyfriend Ben Felter and her dog Olive, she decided to spend some quality time and had a day out. Moreover, she also shared the special moments of the day with her fans by uploading a post on Instagram captioned, “So much change, yet so much joy.”

This is the first time since her injury that Brink has updated anything regarding her life. The post features a couple of pictures of the three of them together. In addition to this, there is also an adorable video of her dog. It showcases Olive enjoying the outdoor green environment by displaying his playful spirit in a garden.

Consequently, this has evoked a range of emotions from her fans as they expressed their thoughts in the comments section.

Supporters wish Cameron Brink the best

Not so long ago, Cameron Brink was invited to be a guest by LA Clippers star Paul George on his podcast. Both of them appear to have had a good friendship between them for quite some time now. Further, the 9× NBA All-Star wished Brink to get well soon by sending a message through his channel. He expressed a similar sentiment this time around as well by writing, “Speedy recovery CB.”

Cameron Brink and her rower boyfriend Ben Felter have been together for more than 3 years now. Both of them met at Stanford in 2021 and graduated together in 2024. Brink’s supporters have loved them as a couple and have showered their love on multiple occasions. Anyhow, this time around their relationship gets a special acknowledgment from TOGETHXR. Seemingly, this is a women’s advocating platform founded by WNBA legend Sue Bird and her partner Megan Rapinoe. The official page posted a 🫶🏻 emoji.

Not only her teammates but her opponents as well want to see her on the court soon. This became evident when Seattle Storm’s point guard Skylar Diggins-Smith showed her off-court sportsmanship by commenting, “You got this.”

After her WNBA peers and analysts, now, the fans also want her to recover fast. One of them wrote, “We miss you! Rest and heal up.”

Further, the official page of Brink’s franchise also reacted to this post. It posted heart emojis in LA Sparks colors.

It will interesting to see when Cameron Brink can make her return. Undeniably, her absence will not only affect her team but also her supporters who were eager to see what she could have offered as a rookie. For the time being, everyone can just hope she recovers well and quick.
