On her quest to solidify all the hype, the the NCAA Division I all-time leading scorer went past another stunning milestone in the Indiana Fever’s 83-78 victory over last year’s WNBA Finalists the New York Liberty. Anyhow, before becoming the first rookie in WNBA history to record a triple-double, the 6-foot-guard managed to headline the tunnel walk at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Well, all these brands have had the opportunity to be part of the pre-game ensemble for one of the greatest collegiate players of all time, Caitlin Clark. And for yet another time, she decided to suit up as per the occasion’s demands. Caitlin Clark keeps re-writing the record books

A very first triple-double by any WNBA rookie finally had the name of Caitlin Clark on Saturday. Helping the Fever end their 9-game winless drought against the Liberty, Clark posted 19 points, dished out 13 assists, and grabbed 12 rebounds in her total 38 minutes. Moreover, she was 7 of 17 from the field and connected on 3 of 12 beyond-the-arc shots, with all of them coming in the opening quarter itself.

The historic moment transpired in the penultimate quarter with 7:07 still remaining with her 10th rebound. On top of that, it was made more memorable by a standing ovation from the 17,274 in attendance at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. “Obviously, it’s really cool,” Clark reflected on her accomplishment post-game. “My teammates have been finishing the ball really, really at a high rate. My assist numbers … that’s because of them.” This exhibition also makes Clark the youngest and the first player to reach such heights in her franchise’s history.
