Caitlin Clark has been keeping herself busy since wrapping up her stellar rookie season with the Indiana Fever. The 22-year-old basketball star has been spotted everywhere over the past couple of months. First, she reconnected with her Iowa family, then she attended charity events, played some golf, and showed her support for her boyfriend’s team. Now, she’s been spotted courtside once again—but this time surprisingly in the Valley of the Sun.
Clark was in attendance for the Phoenix Suns vs Golden State Warriors game. The sighting was shared by the official Suns’ Twitter account writing, “Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark in the Valley for Phoenix Suns vs. Golden State Warriors 👀,” with a video of her arriving. And she witnessed a really close contest between two of the top teams in the West.
As the game unfolded, the Suns held a commanding 66-49 lead over the Warriors at halftime, with Devin Booker lighting up the scoreboard. Handing their fourth loss in a row to the Warriors, Kevin Durant & Co. won 113-105. Despite Stephen Curry’s late-game heroics and scoring 23 points overall, the Warriors couldn’t close the gap. Finally, Durant’s three-pointer in the final minutes sealed the victory for Phoenix.

But before this intense NBA showdown, the WNBA star was having the best time on the golf course. After already impressing fans during her debut in the ANNIKA Pro-Am, she surprised everyone by showing up at the RSM Classic’s Pro-Am.
Nobody even knew she’d be there until the week before. She played alongside PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan and 2023 Ryder Cup Captain Zach Johnson. With big stars like Tom Brady and Matt Ryan, the 2024 ROTY’s presence was no less impactful.
And she totally held her own out there, impressing everyone with her impressive drives down the fairway. Her time at the golf tournaments wasn’t just about the game but about the buzz she created. While some might have thought her involvement was a publicity stunt, the W star proved she’s a real player on the course.
She even got praise from tournament host Davis Love III, who was wowed by her performance and potential. “Pretty incredible what she’s done in her sport and what she’s done for sport and what she’s doing for golf,” he said.
This time, the crowd and broadcast were limited, but she hit perfect drives, and no one could stop talking about how much of a natural she seemed. After her gold outings, she has been supporting her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery’s team.
Caitlin Clark’s videos at Butler games go viral
McCaffery is an assistant coach at Butler University, and Clark has been attending the games, making sure to cheer him on. During Thanksgiving, the Fever guard traveled all the way to Tempe, Arizona—1,691.5 miles away from her home—to watch Butler take on Northwestern.
She even brought her entire family along. Sitting with her parents and brothers, she cheered on McCaffery’s team. A video of her, wearing a Butler jersey, cheering passionately for McCaffery’s team went viral on social media, accumulating massive views.

Indiana Fever Caitlin Clark (22) watches the game from the sidelines on Monday, Nov. 11, 2024, during the game at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The Butler Bulldogs defeated the Western Michigan Broncos, 85-65.
Just a couple of days later, the hooper was back supporting the Bulldogs as they upset No. 25 Mississippi State on Saturday. She was seen wearing a Butler shirt, clapping for her boyfriend’s team, and talking to nearby fans. Again, a viral video by CBS Sports College Basketball gained over 2.7 million views.
But after the Suns game appearance, no one’s sure why exactly Caitlun Clark was there, especially considering Butler’s next game is in Indiana. Was Caitlin Clark at the game because she was already in Arizona? Or is there a reason behind her attendance at the Phoenix game?
