She made a stylish statement at the award show in Kansas City, rocking a bold FavoriteDaughter Suits You Blazer that matched the signature red of the Kansas City Chiefs. Given her love for the Chiefs and her close friendship with Taylor Swift, it’s no surprise that she was showing her support for the team ahead of the Super Bowl! With the event being held in Kansas City, it only added to the excitement as she effortlessly blended fashion with her loyalty to the Chiefs!

She expressed her love for both the Chiefs and Taylor Swift by saying, ” I was trying to make it into a Chiefs game all year but it’s hard to get your schedules aligned up and make it all work and when the playoffs schedule came out I was like gotta go.” She continued, “Taylor’s obviously amazing, the coolest thing about her I think is her ability to get people together and find joy in something, if you’ve been to a Taylor Swift concert I don’t know it takes away everything that’s going on in the real world.” 

While Caitlin wasted no time showering Taylor Swift with praise, what many don’t realize is that her appearance at this event allegedly came with a staggering $100K price tag! A LinkedIn post by Don A. Steinbrugge, CEO of Agecroft Partners, revealed that they tried to book Caitlin Clark for an event but had to back out due to her steep speaking fee. “We were told her virtual speaking fee started at $100,000, which was over our budget,” This effectively means that allegedly Caitlin earns more through a 30-minute meet than she does over the course of a WNBA season!

When news broke about Iowa retiring Caitlin Clark’s jersey, she chose to celebrate the milestone by giving back to her community. Through the Caitlin Clark Foundation, she announced four $22,000 grants to Iowa charities that had been integral to her journey. The recipients included the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital, Coralville Community Food Pantry, Boys and Girls Club of the Corridor, and Special Olympics Iowa-East Central

Clark’s connection to the Iowa community runs deep. In a heartfelt statement, she said, “One of my favorite things about Iowa City is the way the community is connected and how everyone supports each other. It is something I felt during my time here and is important to me that I stay connected with. I am proud to be a part of each of these organizations’ efforts and the meaningful impact they provide for the people of Iowa.” 

But Caitlin didn’t stop there! For her 23rd birthday, she partnered with Scholastic’s national literacy program to make a lasting impact. Her foundation donated 22,000 books to schools in Iowa and Indiana, ensuring that students in need would have access to vital resources to help them succeed.
