A rare occasion awaits fans this month as Caitlin Clark will share the court with her adversary Angel Reese. As it turns out, the 3x All-American forward is the other rookie in the top 5 selections for the All-Star squad. A total of 381,518 votes places the 7th overall WNBA draft pick just above Breanna Stewart’s tally of 424,135.

Currently, both these rookies have been in significant touch in the league. While Clark’s offensive prowess makes her the third leading distributor (6.9 assists per game), Reese is the topmost rebounder (11.4 per game). Moreover, this becomes only the eighth occasion when 2 rookies make it to the All-Star team. Previously, Shoni Schimmel and Chiney Ogwumike shared the honors in 2014.

Many would believe that this upcoming spectacle can be converted into a Caitlin Clark-Angel Reese affair. The amount of popularity that both these athletes have managed to garner lays comprehensive grounds for it. It will be interesting to see what sort of reception this event receives courtesy of these two.
