Taylor Swift sure knows how to bring energy to the table, and WNBA Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark absolutely loves her for that. When the viral music artist’s Eras Tour hit Indianapolis, how could CC possibly miss it? The hooper was right there in attendance- not for just one night, but two! At the same time, she was winning her fans’ hearts even while living it up!

Caitlin Clark attended back-to-back shows at Lucas Oil Stadium from the VIP stand, as confirmed by a fan page that shared a collage of two pictures from the hooper’s Instagram stories from the VIP tents. But the cherry on top moment has to be her proudly wearing bracelets gifted by her own fans, posting photos of Taylor on stage and showing her wrist full of colorful bands, writing, “Dedicated.”

She even joked in her story, “More Caitlin Clark Instagram stories in 2 nights than we’ve gotten all season, thank you Taylor Swift.” Although she wasn’t the only athlete at the concert, there’s no doubt Clark was the biggest Swiftie among them! Most Colts players just had a casual interest in Swift, tagging along with family or friends, we all know that feeling, don’t we?

The rookie sensation has been a die-hard for a long time. How do we know? Well, earlier this week, Caitlin Clark revealed that her favorite Taylor song is ‘Enchanted,’ released back in 2010 when she was just a kid in elementary school.

Do you know that Taylor Swift’s fanbase has started to show love for Caitlin Clark as well? This came after her old tweet resurfaced. In that tweet, CC, being a lifelong Chiefs fan, welcomed Taylor to the ‘good side’ after her relationship with Travis Kelce went public.

Taylor Swift’s fanbase already sides with Caitlin Clark

The buzz picked up after Angel Reese’s latest podcast episode featured Kayla Nicole, Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend. The rivalry between these two talented hoopers has been heating up since their college days, especially when they faced off in the NCAA championship.

“I would be lying if I said that, that level of hate and just, like, online chaos doesn’t impact me,” she admitted.

“It does, even to this day. You can go to my most recent post, and it will be people debating each other why I am worthless, and I’ll never be a talented person and I have no career…”

And you know how fans are, right? They love to pick sides, immediately. Swifties immediately dubbed Caitlin Clark the winner in the ongoing rivalry with Angel Reese. The Chicago Sky star, on her part, took to social media, saying, “Hating pays too💅🏽.”

Since then, Taylor Swift fans have been rooting for CC, and with Swiftie’s support, the WNBA superstar has an even bigger fanbase cheering her on. Who knows, maybe we’ll see more interactions between these fandoms in the future, and maybe stars someday!
