Discussing her fondness for gold, she said, “It is fun, I have some cool Nike golf shoes. I love being outside.” “That’s the only downside about the WNBA, it’s during summer, that’s when you golf,” she revealed.

Also, while most are enjoying their vacations, the ROTY sharpening her golf game somewhere in the midwest. But let us tell you, she is not just playing around, she is preparing to head to The Annika in November, one of the last tournaments on the LPGA Tour.
The best part is, along with playing in the pro arm, she is also on the panel of the Women’s Leadership Summit at the Pelican Golf Club. Well, she once joked about becoming a professional player, and it looks like she is about to.
“I love golf, so the opportunity to play in the pro-am for a tournament with a legend like Annika Sorenstam’s name on it is so exciting,” she said. “I’m looking forward to seeing all the LPGA players on the driving range, being part of the Women’s Leadership Summit, and, of course, teeing it up in the pro-am with Annika.”
But the basketball and now a golf star will not be alone in the spotlight. She’ll share it with Nelly Korda, another young sports star who’s absolutely killing it in golf.
