She said Yes!
Los Angeles Sparks standout Cameron Brink was on a typical date with her former boyfriend, Ben Felter. Little did she know, it was about to become a memorable moment for her. At 22 years old, Brink was totally surprised when her now fiancé got down on one knee. And where better to propose than in front the Eiffel Tower, especially during Paris Fashion Week?
On October 30th, Brink immediately took to Instagram to announce the news. “Yes in every lifetime 🤍♾️,” Brink captioned alongside pictures of Felter kneeling down. The proposal happened at the Shangri-La Paris Hotel after Brink had wrapped up the Balenciaga show. For the LA Sparks star, it was a complete surprise who had no idea Felter was coming to Paris. Aww moment, right?

The couple has been dating for nearly four years and they finally found their forever moment. Felter and Brink met at Stanford, where he was a rower and Brink was, of course, a star athlete on the basketball team. Since 2021, the power couple has often shared glimpses of their relationship. Ben only confirmed the date on March 10th, 2022, sharing a couple of pictures with the now-22-year-old. Brink then hopped on this year, writing, “3 years with you.”
So the ultimate news now certainly did bring a host of her fans in high spirits, but also her close ones, including Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark.
A love that thrives on and off the court
The couple, living in LA, love staying active together. From hiking to enjoying beach days, Felter and Brink share an unwavering bond. But that’s not all—this couple lifts each other up in more ways than one. Felter, a two-time IRCA Scholar-Athlete at Stanford University, even taught Brink how to surf. Now as they take the next leap, the Indiana Fever’s 2024 No.1 couldn’t hold back from congratulating.

She dropped four heart-eyed emojis to celebrate the Sparks’ standout’s off-court win. Angel Reese, another common name under Brink’s post and vice versa, chimed right in. “STOPPPP. Congrats bby,” she wrote with a couple of tear-eyed emojis. Fever’s Luxie Hul was another who couldn’t control her emotions. “CRYING SCREAMING THROWING UP OMG” she exclaimed.
After graduation, Brink signed with the Los Angeles Sparks as the No. 2 overall pick in the WNBA Draft and made her professional debut the following month. However, her rookie season was cut short after she tore her ACL in June. But through it all, Felter was there for her. Shortly after her injury, Brink told PEOPLE that her love had turned her into “a huge art lover.” Now, she’s into pottery and watercolor, “even though I’m terrible at it.”

How could Brink’s teammates not celebrate with her and this love? Zia Cooke took to Instagram to post a heartfelt, “Omgggg congratulations!!!” While Aari McDonald, in a more emotional tone, added, “Congratulations Cam” to go with the many teary eyed emojis.
Felter and Brink seem like a perfect match. But their relationship isn’t just about appearances—they genuinely adore each other. “Plus qu’hier, moins que demain,” (More than yesterday, less than tomorrow) the 22-year-old celebrated earlier this year.
