Did Caitlin Clark just steal the show at the WNBA All-Star event?

This Saturday, the hottest runway is not in Paris. Instead, it’s the WNBA All-Star game tunnel! Keeping up with tradition, both rookie sensations were spotted in breathtaking outfits before the game. Usually, it’s “Chi-Town Barbie” who goes viral for her pregame fits this season. But this time, it seems Caitlin Clark has taken over.

After seeing her outfit choice before the WNBA All-Star Game in Phoenix, Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark arrived in a white top paired with a simple brown leather skirt. To complete her look, she added sunglasses and red-hot heels, exuding a formal yet classy vibe. Every time Caitlin Clark makes an appearance, either on or off the court, she ensures that the sold-out arenas are completely satisfied.

But this time, her teammates also put their best foot forward. Right beside Clark, shining as bright, was Aliyah Boston in a red sequined top with floral pants paired with ruby slippers, and Kelsey Mitchell bringing in the pop of color and the league might we add, with a patchwork jumpsuit displaying WNBA team jerseys.

Have an interesting take?

Right after the Indiana Fever shared a video of Clark walking down the tunnel with her All-Star teammates, the comment section went crazy. “Caitlin’s style is [fire],” an X user penned to praise the All-Star game forward. Actually, it isn’t just Clark rocking the outfit; she’s keeping up with the legacy. WNBA fashion has evolved over the years, with rookies following the path started by avant-garde trendsetters Kelsey Plum and A’ja Wilson.

“Clark looks like a Barbie doll,” added another, heaping praise on the Iowa native. A hint towards “Chi-town Barbie” Angel Reese who sought the nickname from Bayou Barbie after being drafted by the Chicago Sky to reflect her new city? A possibility. Regardless, the focus was all on the three stars.

“Very original! KM” added a user applauding Kelsey Mitchell for her unique idea behind the patchwork jumpsuit. As the three Indiana Fever mates made an entry together, a user called them, “WNBA Charlie’s Angels” Notably, the Fever became the dominant team with the most number of players on the All-Star roster making it earlier for them to collaborate on court.

Caitlin Clark, Jonquel Jones, Nneka Ogwumike, DeWanna Bonner, and Arike Ogunbowale made the starting five from the All-Star today. With Ogunbowale leading, Team USA was outshined 117-109.
