Ruby was born in 2021; therefore, she was not around to see her mother’s first MVP award. On the grandest stage in the league, she is currently watching Stewart and the New York Liberty play in the WNBA Finals.

Terrika Foster-Brasby of ESPN interviewed Breanna Stewart about Ruby’s grasp of what she does for a job. The MVP responded with a grin, “Ruby thinks mommy is the WNBA logo, the Puma logo, and the Barclays Center.”

“Everything she sees like that, she says, ‘Mommy.’ I think she understands that I’m playing basketball, but she hasn’t worked out anything else.” Stewart also comments on Ruby’s basketball knowledge. “But it’s funny because when she comes up to people and they see her wearing a Puma, she’s like, ‘Mommy.’

Breanna Stewart’s business endorsement

Breanna’s kid correctly identified her mother by the Puma emblem, since she wears the brand and has a lot of webbing around her. Stewart’s first trademark shoe, the Stewie 1, debuted after she signed a contract with Puma in September 2022. However, the Puma athlete decided to release her next pair of shoes in memory of her daughter, who meant the world to her. and also named the new red hue of Puma as ‘Ruby.’
