As fierce as they look on the court, Team USA doesn’t start their campaign for the 8th consecutive Olympic gold until tomorrow, however, it seems that Breanna Stewart tried her hands at an alternative profession while she attended the Opening Ceremony. As the participating nations arrived in customized boats via the Seine River, Stewart’s snapshots capturing Team USA’s arrival dazzled on social media, with Stewart slaying her off-court skills.
In one of her recent Instagram posts, Breanna Stewart shared a carousel of pictures and video snippets featuring Team USA women’s basketball alongside the national flag bearer and the Lakers legend LeBron James waving the USA’s national flag with the glittering Eiffel Tower in the background. Showing off her photography skills, Stewart added a hilarious caption to the post, “Gotta add photographer to my resume.”
However, the most popular pictures in the collection feature LeBron James alongside Tennis star Coco Guaff as they wave the USA’s national flag during the opening ceremony. The photos also showcase Team USA and other athletes donning national colors of the United States in Ralph Lauren attire, which included navy blazers, and lines with red and white trim paired with jeans.

Additionally, the wool blazers bore the logo of the US Olympic team on the right side while on the left side, it had Ralph Lauren’s signature Big Pony logo. Meanwhile, the reigning WNBA MVP Stewart is also looking to transform the narratives while she competes at the Olympics.
Breanna Stewart driving the change
The last time she represented the USA at the Olympics, Stewart became a mother for the first time. After she helped her team win their 7th consecutive gold in Tokyo, Stewart immediately flew back home to California to welcome her first child, Ruby Mae. “I flew from Tokyo to Los Angeles and from LAX went straight to the hospital, basically.”

Now, initiating her third Olympic journey as a mother of two, Stewart is playing at the highest level while exemplifying her responsibilities as a parent. She was asked about the same to which she responded, “As a mom speaking for moms, especially for those here at the Olympics, we wanna be great at both and really taking pride in that and making sure that whether we are with our kids or on the basketball court, I wanna be the best that I can be. And, to show my kids that, when they get older they can do anything that they want, so I think for us as moms that are here in the Olympics, we just want to continue to change the standard, change the narrative, because there hasn’t been as many kids as there are in this one ever and we only want that to continue, grow.”
