The love affair of Caitlin Clark with Iowa earlier and now Indiana Fever knows no bounds. And the same can be said about her obsession with her glorious collection of Nike Kobe Bryant kicks which she often dons on the basketball court in order to pay her respects to the NBA legend. But, how about she is able to get a culmination of all these? Well, by the looks of some latest social media exploits, the fans could witness it taking place.
Just a few days after delighting her fans with a glimpse of the Nike Kobe 6 Protro at the All-Star Game, Caitlin Clark comes up with another surprise. Taking center stage this time is a pair of Nike Kobe 5 Protro Player Exclusive drawing some significant inspiration from her alma mater–The Iowa Hawkeyes. Having said that, a reflection of Clark’s WNBA franchise, the Indiana Fever, is not left behind. Sparing a thought or two about this unique collaboration, Clark said, “It’s pretty cool. I feel like it’s Fever, but it’s also Iowa. So you get the best of both worlds”.
Following this, Caitlin Clark dialed down the specifics about one pair from her stack that resembles more like Fever. Then she draws some similarities as well as points out what’s different between the current piece with one of her prized possessions, The “Bruce Lee” Kobe 5. As it turns out, a sight of Clark wearing these chosen sneakers can be seen when Fever took on LA Sparks and Las Vegas Aces last month. Clark further added, “You got the yellow, they look a little similar to the Bruce Lees that I wear. But, like so different. I like the gold swoosh. It’s the black and yellow, you can’t go wrong. Just the best colors.”
