Caitlin Clark getting love from WNBA stars—Is this the start of a new era of unity?

Caitlin Clark was undoubtedly one of the rookies who had to endure the worst of the league. However, as we step into the second half of the 28th WNBA season, her connections seem to be growing. Now, she has not only taken over the record book and the sales charts of the league but also the hearts of the stars that came before her. Arike Ogunbowale, the 2x WNBA All-Star MVP, did not hide her love for the rook ever. But now, everyone has taken a step of appreciation for this sensational basketball player.

Recently, Caitlin Clark shared a post on her Instagram as she reminisced about the last time the WNBA stars played so far. She captioned her post, “First WNBA All-Star ❤️‍🔥🌟” The weekend was certainly successful for the superstar as she became the only rookie to win the All-Star honor with the most fan votes. On the floor as well, Team WNBA got the better of Team USA and Caitlin Clark rewrote history. But what was most picturesque was the connection that everyone in the Footprint Arena shared with each other.

Even Angel Reese joined hands with Caitlin Clark to create a double-double in the All-Star game. Overall, the vibes and energy were very pure and positive. But the comments on the Indiana Fever rookie’s post were much more heart-warming. Arike Ogunbowale, the Dallas Wings guard, commented, “tha future! ✨” The veteran surely set the tone in the comment section. But there Dearica Hamby of the LA Sparks wrote, “You did great sweetie ❤️❤️❤️.”
