Angel Reese and Lexie Brown are joining hands to bring a major sports apparel brand to the WNBA – Reebok! Described as “the irreverent and iconic sports culture brand,” on the W’s official website, Reebok and the league just announced a multi-year partnership. With this, the brand will be an authorized footwear supplier for the W and will capitalize on Reese and Brown’s influence.
As only the second WNBA player to receive her own signature shoe after Rebecca Lobo, Angel Reese announced a multi-year partnership extension with the $20 billion brand in late October. While her signature shoe will be released sometime in 2026, the Chicago Sky player launched her first official Reebok collection, “Reebok by Angel,” earlier this summer. She also led the unveiling of Reebok’s new performance basketball shoe, the “Engine A”.
“Reebok has been such an amazing partner and advocate for women in sport,” Reese said in a statement, per the official WNBA site. “As strong female athletes, we can use our platform to set an example for young players coming up in the sport. I’m happy to see the WNBA and Reebok supporting one another because I know that together we’re so much stronger and our reach is so much further.”

In mid-November, Reese also made an appearance on the “Sport is Everything” feature alongside a number of other athletes. On her debut night with the Chicago Sky back in May, the forward also wore her own custom Reebok Solution shoe, as did longtime Reebok partner Lexie Brown.
While Reese’s shoes were clean chalk/white silhouettes with pink popping up here and there, the tongue also had her first name “Angel” written on it as well as a custom sock liner reading “Unapologetically, Angel”, a trademark that is also the name of her podcast. On the other hand, Brown’s kicks were more high-contrast, mixing the Sparks’ uniform colors of black, yellow, and purple.
In an effort to revitalize the presence of the brand in sports, Reebok also appointed Reese’s NBA mentor Shaq to their ranks last October.

Another chance for Shaquille O’Neal and Angel Reese to work together
Shaq has been somewhat of a hoops mentor to Reese since her college days, with the Sky forward even calling him her “uncle.” Despite the age gap, it seems the duo gets along well, from the retired NBA star appearing on Reese’s podcast to the two competing in a shooting contest.
“It’s an exciting time for Reebok, the WNBA, and the game of basketball overall,” said O’Neal. “Reebok has always been committed to supporting the growth of the sport, and now with a strong plan, the right resources, and the welcoming arms of the WNBA, we’re ready to dive in headfirst with everything from product to players and more.”

With Reese’s partnership with Reebok, they already had a chance to work together. But with the sports giant now more involved in the W, the President of Basketball, and their star face, it’s a better opportunity for the two to collaborate!
