Caitlin Clark has a lot of diamonds in her treasure box. And just like she mentioned, her relationships make her legacy. The LSU Tigers and Iowa Hawkeyes have given the college basketball world a lot. But a few players like Angel Reese, Flau’jae Johnson, and Caitlin Clark are amongst the most talked about. Hence, when the 5-ft-10 LSU guard got to talk about one of the biggest threats to her team, Caitlin Clark, she got her slate clear. In fact, she even had a message for her that just might help the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer relax more.

While they were always enemies between the lines, Caitlin Clark has formed friendly bonds with her competitors outside of it. One of them is the ‘AMF rapper. Talking about the Iowa’s super sensational hooper, Johnson said, “Caitlin is tough. She’s as good as advertised.” She later added, “Playing against Caitlin Clark, she’s really that good.”

Angel Reese’s teammate from Baton Rouge also had a few things to say about Clark’s critics. She said, In the WNBA, they say she’s struggling and stuff like that, right? She had 20 points in her debut. 10 turnovers, but like, if you have 20 points in your debut and that’s a bad game, then like, what do a good game look like?”

Johnson also agreed to the fact that the Fever rookie has a lot of pressure on her. Calling her one of the best things in women’s basketball, the Big 12 also has a word of advice for Clark that everyone seems to be echoing.

What does Flau’jae Johnson have to say to Caitlin Clark?

There is no doubt that Clark is one of the stars that everyone wants to see shine. But sometimes, the thick clouds can hinder the view. But is that the star’s fault? Similarly, Indiana, despite having one of the most-hyped college phenomena in their roster is entering the next game with a 0-5 record.

Hence, Johnson did not shy away from letting her thoughts out. She said, “At the end of the day, if you a hooper, you believe in your work. You got to kind of be blinded by all that other stuff because every game ain’t gonna go right. As long as she stays committed to the process and don’t let the everything faze her, she’ll be fine.”

In her WNBA opener against the Sun, Caitlin Clark had dropped 20 points and 10 turnovers. Then, Stephen A. Smith backed Caitlin Clark for not giving in to the negativity. Next, the Fever will visit Sparks in Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and hope for a first win.
