Angel Reese doesn’t just admire Shaquille O’Neal’s storied career; she also takes him as a mentor, and he’s been a fatherly figure for her. The “double-double queen” has looked up to him since college. And it looks like she is also making major moves in personal branding in a way that feels straight out of Shaq’s playbook. Yes, both are now in the ‘cereal business.
Back in August, the Chicago Sky forward announced her exciting partnership with Reese’s, owned by Hershey and worth $34.44 Billion. This collaboration is perfect; just the sound-alike names have gotten fans buzzing!
And now, the moment everyone has been waiting for has arrived: “Angel X Reese’s Puffs” cereal is officially on store shelves. The baller couldn’t contain her excitement, sharing a fun video with her followers showing off the box with her face on it.

Melissa Blette, Reese’s senior brand manager, revealed that the company had been eyeing Angel for quite some time. “Given the obvious name connection, we always thought Angel Reese would be a perfect fit,” Blette said. At the same time, the hooper was over the moon, too. “I’m so excited to partner with such an iconic brand,” she said. “Not only does this fulfill my childhood dream of being on a cereal box, but there couldn’t be a better fit for me than Reese’s Puffs.”

With this, Reese is the first-ever WNBA player to collaborate with Reese’s, joining the ranks of superstars like Michael Phelps and Simone Biles. But did you know this collab has a surprising link to Shaq? In 2021, the NBA legend fulfilled a lifelong dream of working with Frosted Flakes when Kellogg’s launched a limited-edition cinnamon basketball cereal featuring him.
The big man turned down Wheaties during his championship days because he ate Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes as a kid and always wanted to work with Tony the Tiger. Since then, he has been associated with the brand.

But there’s one brand that connects Reese and Shaq- Reebok. In October 2023, the 22-year-old signed an endorsement deal with Reebok, becoming the brand’s first signing since O’Neal was named president of Reebok Basketball.
“For my first appointment in this role, it had to be the GOAT,” O’Neal said then. Fast forward to today, Reese is set to make her mark with her signature shoe.

With her recent deal extension with Reebok, Angel Reese is taking her brand to the next level. It includes the highly anticipated launch of her signature shoe, set to hit the market by 2026. The Chi-Town Barbie shared her excitement on her podcast, Unapologetically Angel, calling it a dream come true.
“I’m extremely excited to let you guys know that we are officially coming out with a Reebok by Angel signature shoe.” She added that the design process is already underway. Moreover, she has complete creative control over her signature products, allowing her to connect with younger audiences through her lens.
Her first collaborative footwear collection, Reebok by Angel, debuted in August 2024, and she even wore her Reebok Engine, a pair of sneakers against Caitlin Clark’s Indiana Fever. Not to forget, CC’s fans are still waiting for her signature shoes. Although Angel’s rookie was cut short by a wrist injury, she didn’t miss a chance at building her public image.
