An entire ecosystem helps in the making of a basketball player. Athletes can make it big because they are supported by their families, friends, coaches, and agents. Despite a lot of limelight for all the other three, agents usually stay in the background and miss the deal. However, Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese has decided to bring her agent, Jeanine Ogbonnaya, into the spotlight.

The duo were recently spotted in a viral video dancing to the lyrical “Yeah Glo!” By GloRilla. Both of them were looking to match their rhythm to the tune of the songs, although Ogbonnaya was finding it difficult to groove to the song. The video was uploaded on TikTok by Reese as well as shared on the Instagram story by Ogbonnaya with a witty confession. Ogbonnaya admitted, “The way I cannot stay on beat,” and tagged Reese’s Instagram account. It only showed the bond between Reese and her agent.

As per her LinkedIn account, Reese’s agent is the founder of the Clearview Group. She was previously involved in sports marketing and partnerships at Jonesworks. Other than that, she was also a talent marketing director at GSE Worldwide. Ogbonnaya has been a part of society management that represents Pamela Anderson.

Both Reese and Ogbonnaya go back a long way since her time with the Maryland Terrapins. The dance reminded fans of the recent trend done by Cameron Brink and her grandmother when the two shook their feet to a famous song on TikTok. However, there is no denying that Brink’s attempt brought in more views from the netizens. On the other hand, Reese would be looking to capitalize on her on-court chances after getting average visibility by dancing to the latest trend.

Angel Reese marches forward

How Reese has grown into a brand with time is quite visible, especially after she became the 7th pick with the Chicago Sky. Fans are waiting for Reese to form a solid partnership with Kamilla Cardoso. Most likely, Reese will be debuting on May 3rd during the preseason game against the Minnesota Lynx. And hopefully, she will be as successful as she was during the NCAA.

Now that Reese has come forward with her agent, fans will know who to credit. They must have been jolly watching the new trend, and as Reese progresses in the WNBA, they will not forget the backstage role that Ogbonnaya plays in Reese’s life.
