Is Caitlin Clark-Angel Reese rivalry taking a completely another turn with the No. 22 not even being in the conversation? Well, maybe it is with Angel Reese taking a side opposite to Taylor Swift, Clark’s favorite artist at present. The latest episode of ‘Unapologetically Angel’ grabbed a whopping 38K views in less than 24 hours. Reason? The ‘Chi-Town Barbie’ hosted Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole to spill some beans and amp up the spice level in her conversations. With the Swifties busy criticizing Nicole for her past, Angel Reese allowed Nicole to defend herself. While the Swifties aren’t happy, Reese is still unapologetic as always.
On Friday, Reese tweeted a message on X, what many think to be a dig on Swifites. “hating pays too💅🏽,” Reese stated. And most of her fans believe that she was indirectly putting out a message for all the people hating her for defending Nicole.
During the podcast, Reese empathized with Nicole, giving her an opportunity to present her side of the story. She asked Nicole what she was unapologetic about. To, which Nicole gave a clear answer: “My entire existence.” However, Reese took the controversial path. She quoted Toosii, who had just days ago brought out an argument that many personalities are famous on the internet “off of nothing.” But here Reese expressed that Nicole is “own person absolutely and everybody needs to know that.”

And when Nicole got support from Reese, she too gave a strong answer to her critics. “Whatever we talk about my past attachment an ex of mine that was an athlete when I started dating this person I had my own following period like I wasn’t at zero follow I had my own established following at the time,” Nicole stated.
Nicole had been in an on-and-off relationship with Kelce from 2017 to 2022. However, she has never mentioned Kelce by name since her breakup. Now, the NFL star has gotten into a high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift. If Reese’s probing and arguments weren’t enough to infuriate Swifites, Nicole’s side of the story got them lashing out at the two.

Angel Reese’s podcast is on its way to becoming popular
Reese started the podcast in early September after her season ended with a wrist injury. Since then, Reese has often gotten into the news for the eye-opening topics she has selected. While in the first episode, she talked about Caitlin Clark and her love life, in the next, she invited Polo G to shed light on the “dark side of fame.” That episode got her 365K views. This opened the path to invite more celebs.

The Chi-Town Barbie then got the chance to sit opposite Latto & Mariah, which got her the pod’s highest views until now: 826K. And from that point onwards, Reese has had the privilege of sharing the mic with Sheryl Swoopes, Dwayne Wade, and now Nicole. After she discussed Kelce’s relationship with Nicole, the pod has been getting increasing views in a limited time. As of now, the YT video has 40K views and counting.
This probably might open the chance for Reese to also invite Swift someday on her podcast. Till then, all Reese can expect is to market her pod well and keep her fans entertained in the off-season.
