The Unrivaled 3×3 league has been making waves in women’s basketball, and with the highly anticipated 1-on-1 tournament underway, the competition is heating up. While big matchups had fans on the edge of their seats, one of the most talked-about moments of the night didn’t even come from the game itself. Instead, it was all about a walkout song, a hilarious bet, and, of course, Angel Reese’s undeniable influence.
It all started on February 10, when Lexie Hull squared off against Rhyne Howard in the one-on-one showdown. While Howard ultimately came out on top, Hull managed to steal the show before even stepping on the court. The viral moment? Her walkout song.
DiJonai Carrington, guard for the Dallas Wings, couldn’t help but share the hilarious details with fans. Taking to X, she wrote: “Y’all, we got to pick a walkout song to walk out to for 1v1. Why did @lexiehull just walk out to Boosie – Set It Off 😭😭😭😭😭😭 I love her 😂😂😂.”

Hull’s moment had instantly blown up, racking up nearly 100,000 views in just 30 minutes. And if that wasn’t entertaining enough, Reese decided to let everyone in on a little secret. “Yup! And you know who chose that for her🤣😭,” the Chi-Town Barbie responded.
But looks like it did not just come by. There’s more to the story.

Kahleah Copper, former WNBA champion and current Unrivaled star, chimed in with a comment that sent social media into a frenzy. “We bet 1K,” Copper wrote in response to Carrington on why Hull walked out for the song she did. And the Indiana Fever star is happy to share, it did not go to waste.
“I can confirm [Copper] paid up,” she wrote on her Instagram stories. However, not everything would go as desired.

Despite struggling on court, Hull and her mother knew a way to handle upset
Hull had a tough shooting night as she struggled to find consistency on offense. She shot just 3-for-15 from the field, including 1-for-7 from beyond the arc. Despite her offensive struggles, she was active on the boards, grabbing 12 rebounds. While her ability to crash the glass kept her engaged in the game, she committed one turnover.
However, it was her inefficient shooting that ultimately cost her a chance at victory. Regardless, her mother, Jaime Hull, was still not disappointed.

It was because she walked away with the $1,000. “Well, at least @lexiehulll won something in the 1v1 tourney!! That and $1K from @kahleahcopper (who has already paid up, btw). Still laughing about this,” Jaime Hull tweeted, confirming that Hull did get the payout. All thanks to Reese, who played a crucial part in Caitlin Clark’s teammate’s choice of walkout song.
But the Fever icon did not seem to mull over the loss either. She had more to cheer her up.
